Midnight Museum
Some things never go out of style. A black satin dress, a string of pearls, a beautifully tailored jacket…
Midnight Museum began with my love for these little details. I wanted to create a wardrobe that felt timeless, with pieces that could be worn in different ways, mixed and matched, and loved for years.
Every dress, jacket, and tiny accessory was made by hand, with plenty of patience, a few challenges along the way, and so much joy in seeing each piece come together.
A collection of handmade couture clothing for Barbie and 1/6 scale fashion dolls, inspired by the kind of elegance I've always loved.
Welcome to Midnight Museum.
With love, Yamelika.
Black Lace Evening Gown & Veiled Hat
A black dress, a little drama, and a hat that makes all the difference.
I wanted this dress to have the elegance of an old-fashioned evening gown, with a fitted strapless bodice, layers of black lace, and a satin skirt underneath.
The little flower hat with its soft net veil was the finishing touch. Somehow, the whole look felt incomplete without it.
Handmade for Barbie and 1/6 scale fashion dolls, this two-piece set is part of Yamelika's Midnight Museum collection.
One of those outfits that deserves a special evening.
Midnight Muse – Black Four-Piece Outfit
Four little pieces, so many ways to wear them.
I love creating clothes that can be worn together but also have a life of their own. This all-black outfit was designed with exactly that in mind.
The high-waisted flared trousers give it a little vintage attitude, while the heart-shaped neckline top adds a softer touch. A cropped jacket and an oversized black hat bring everything together.
Each of the four pieces is handmade for 11.5-inch, 1/6 scale fashion dolls, with careful attention to the little details that make miniature clothing feel like real fashion.
Sometimes, all you need is a good black outfit.
Black Satin Evening Gown & Lace Gloves
A little black satin, a few pearls, and a reason to dress up.
I spent quite a bit of time arranging the lace on this dress. I wanted it to follow the shape of the gown naturally, with little pearls catching the light here and there.
The long black lace gloves came next, followed by a tiny flower hat with a soft veil. Each piece adds something different, but I especially love how they look together.
This handmade three-piece evening outfit was created for 11.5-inch fashion dolls, with the small details and careful finishing I love bringing to Yamelika's miniature couture.
Made for an evening worth remembering.
Black Satin Midi Dress & Wide-Brim Hat
I have always loved the elegance of vintage fashion, especially the way a simple black dress can become something special with just a few details.
For this piece, I chose black satin, added lace around the neckline and sleeves, and finished the hem with tiny pearls placed one by one.
And then came the hat. I wanted something oversized, a little dramatic, and impossible to overlook. It completely changed the character of the dress.
This handmade two-piece outfit was created for 11.5-inch fashion dolls, bringing a touch of vintage elegance into Yamelika's miniature wardrobe.
Because sometimes, the hat makes the outfit.
Pearl-Embellished Black Evening Gown
Pearls after midnight.
This dress took patience. I wanted the pearls to look as though they had been scattered across the black satin, so I placed them one by one, mixing different sizes rather than following a perfect pattern.
The fitted strapless bodice flows into a long black lace skirt. I added matching lace gloves and a little flower fascinator with a veil to complete the look.
It's a three-piece handmade evening outfit for 11.5-inch fashion dolls, and one of the pieces that best captures what I imagined for Midnight Museum.
Some dresses are worth every tiny stitch.
